Editorial Team
The Editorial Team is comprised of two bodies:
Editorial Committee
The Editorial Committee, made up of seven members, all students of International Studies, coordinates the entire editorial process. Each Associate Editor is in charge of a specific area of responsibility, detailed below:
Editor-in-Chief: Responsible for guiding the entire project, as well as ensuring compliance with the journal's bylaws.
Associate Editor - Secretary: Their main function is to draft and keep records of meeting minutes.
Associate Editor - Art Director: Responsible for overseeing the journal's layout, in conjunction with the University of Azuay's publishing house.
Associate Editor - Public Relations Coordinator: Manages the journal's digital communication channels; handles the promotion of calls for articles and publishes on digital platforms.
Associate Editor - Call for Submissions Manager: Responsible for coding articles for the double-blind peer review process. Two Associate Editors - Reviewers: Responsible for reviewing the articles received in response to the call for papers.
Academic Committee
The Academic Committee is an advisory body to the Editorial Committee and will operate under the principles of impartiality, academic rigor, and ideological pluralism.
They conduct blind peer review to ensure the quality of the articles' content.
They advise the Editorial Committee on establishing criteria for evaluating articles.
The Academic Committee will be composed of national and international university professors, experts in International Studies and related fields.
Permanent Executive Member: This member of the Academic Committee will guide all editions of the journal and will oversee the execution of the process.
Associate Members: The Academic Committee will be composed of national and international university professors or researchers, experts in International Studies and related fields.
